My Goals: They Haz a Fail

Summer is winding down. My classes start tomorrow.
So how did the great list of summer accomplishments work out? Well... Let's review.
Just for fun, let's assign point values to the list.
On a scale of one to five, five being a solid win and one being an epic fail. This gives me a possible total of thirty points.

1. Fix my scooter.
Mostly accomplished. It's running as of right now, but this lemon from Motorxtremes still has more problems than any bike should.
Score: 4
2. Catch up on reading.
Barely made a dent in my opinion. I swear, every time I turn around, there is more I want to read and not enough time to do it.
Score: 3
3. Catch up on video games.
Nope. Picked up the DS once, and that's about it. Wii parties don't count because they aren't my games anyway.
Score: 1
4. Visit the beach.
Twice. That's right. Two times. It was just too cold.
Score: 1
5. Spend lots of time at Frederik Meijer Gardens.
Yes! We have a winner. Season pass FTW! Family trips to the garden paid for the family pass within just a few weeks and we're still finding reasons to go back.
Score: 5
6. Get a head start on learning German.
Nope. Not really. I did manage to get my materials for class together, but I never really got the quiet time I needed to really sit and read up on the materials I gathered.
Score: 1

So, what's the damage?
15/30
FAIL.
Maybe next summer will be better. Then again, there is that whole "baby" thing so..... maybe not.

Unverifiable Information About Me...

I like to read. - I like three-seasons porches and walls of books. - I create art but hate the artistic scene, and the ego associated with it. - I like to wear blazers because I like lots of pockets for note cards and pens. - I hate arthritis...a lot. - I like to make freshly roasted coffee in a press pot. - I think messenger bags are a God send. - I am the biggest offender of the things that irritate me the most. Admitting this gives me only the slightest edge in life. Mostly though, I'm at the mercy of others.
